Mary Sue is a growing species of characters from fics, no matter the series, movie, or book, that can and will make editors, writers, and readers pull the hair out of their ears.
Common traits of the Mary-ius Sue-is species are

Hero/heroine of the fic.

Everyone likes him/her.

Usually saves the story or dies heroically for the sake of others

Unbelievably beautiful/handsome, intelligent, or talented.

Does no wrong. As if he/she is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ Himself.
